Financial Integrity

Mrs. Carter’s professional career spans over 35 years of accounting and finance experience. Fourteen (14) years of this experience has been specific to DoD professional services contracting in the role of Chief Financial Officer.

Mrs. Carter joined IntegrITS at its inception in 2000, instrumentally establishing its accounting policies and procedures, and implementing the corporate financial accounting system infrastructure. As the IntegrITS Chief Financial Officer, Mrs. Carter oversees corporate finance and accounting, corporate taxes, financial planning, cash management and internal controls.  She directs and coordinates IntegrITS’ financial affairs in accordance with financial principles and government regulations. Her responsibilities include financial analysis of operations and oversight of operational procedures, budgets and financial forecasts.

 

Mrs. Carter’s 35+ year career has included various leadership roles in the areas of management accounting, auditing, taxation and nonprofit accounting, and she has experience in financial and compliance audits, general ledger accounting, financial report preparation, tax preparation, cash management, billing, accounts receivable, payables, and payroll.

  

A champion for community causes, Mrs. Carter always seeks opportunities to give back to her community through volunteerism, charitable giving, and serving as a leader at her church.  She also has a passion for enacting change in the global community and has traveled abroad to participate in mission trips. Her most recent international trip involved working alongside a medical team treating underserved communities in Haiti.

 

Mrs. Carter earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce & Business Administration from the University of Alabama specializing in Accounting and Finance. She also has active membership in the American Accounting Association and the National Contract Management Association.  ​​
